Our New House In Indy.

This is our new house in Indy. As sad as I have been at the thought of leaving TN and moving further away from family and friends I know in my heart I must make the best of it. God has opened this door for us for whatever reason and sees the bigger picture that I do not. I am trusting him to give me the strength and courage to get through it all with anticipation for what he has in store for us.

Valentines and My Birthday

Time with friends before moving

Spending time with friends before we move. Tracy and C.J came to visit from Knoxville a few months ago so we could see each other before we moved. It was a fun visit. Tracy and I have been friends for about 15 or 16 years.
Hollie came to visit a few weeks ago and we went out to eat and said our goodbyes. We have been friends for about 7 years.
It is never easy to leave friends but, I know it is not really goodbye but, until we see each other again. As much as I hate moving I remember that I met Tracy in GA and I met Hollie when we lived in Evansville, IN without the moves I would not have met such wonderful friends.

Christmas 2008

I have always loved Christmas time and this year was no exception. This past year we have been blessed to see our family grow with the addition of Miranda's new family Danny and little Maddie. It is just amazing how fast time goes by!!! It was great getting to spend Christmas with My family. I love you all so much and cherish every moment with you. As I get older "yes I said it" older I realize just how important family and friends are. It was so much fun getting to see Maddie during her first Christmas and to know that next year she will be running all over the place. Briana was so excited to get the American Girl doll she had been asking for all year from her to great sisters, Mirand and Mallorie. I am always greatful for and CHERISH each and every moment I get with my mom and dad. It was great to see Mallorie and funny how her wish list went from video games to kitchenware:) I love you Mal-Mal and I miss you. To watch Miranda with her new family and to see what a great mom she is just melts my heart. It was undoubtly an unforgettable Christmas filled with memories. One of my favorites was listening to Briana read the Christmas stroy from her Bible and praying that we all know that Christ is the reason for the season and that he is the greatest gift we could ever recieve. This Christmas was also bittersweet for me as I know that this was our last Christmas here. We have made some great freinds and great memories here and we will miss it when we leave. I look to the future with hope and anticipation to see what God has in store for us on this journey of life.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we went to my parents house and then the day after we went to visit the girls and little Maddie. She is getting sooo big!! Thanksgiving day at mom and dads was lots of fun. It has been a long time since we were all together like that for Thanksgiving. I was reminded just how precious family is and how fast time goes buy. It seems like only yesterday we were kids running around driving mom and dad crazy and now we are grown with families of our own and STILL driving mom and dad crazy. HaHa!! I am so thankful for my family. I love you all so much. I can not imagine my life without any of you. I have been blessed beyond measure and thank God everyday for all his blessings in my life and for his Grace and Mercy. I am most Thankful for his love and forgiveness. I would not be where I am today without him. I pray his blessings over us all and that we not forget the sacrifice he made because he loves us. As the new year approaches remember his promise in Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. Plans to prosper you, not to harm you. Plans to give you a future filled with hope. That is a promise we can all trust.

Halloween

Every year on halloween we go to my good friend and neighbors house Tracy. She always has a birthday part for her son Rex and then we all go trick or treating in the neighborhood. We always have so much fun. It is always fun to see what all the kids costumes are. I will miss this tradition when we move to Indiana and my good freind Tracy and her family. I am thankful for all the good freinds God has put into our family's life since moving to Tennesse and even though I will miss you all. I look forward to the people he will put into our lives in Indiana. It is always hard to leave the ones you love but, I know we will keep in touch and we WILL see each other again.
