Thankful

Today I am sitting here drinking my morning coffee and listening to the birds sing and the winds blow and am so very thankful that the snow is gone and Spring is here!! Experiencing the change of seasons here in Indianapolis reminds of the change of seasons I have experienced in my life and how thankful I am that even in the COLD and what felt like frozen and desperate times of my life. The times I felt like shouting to the top of my lungs "WHERE ARE YOU LORD"! I now reflect and can see he was there carrying me through it all. I am so thankful for his guidance and love in my life. My desire in this life is to continue to grow in him and to share his love and hope with others.

First snow fall of 2010

Our first snowfall of 2010 here in Indy. It is beautiful and cold. Briana had fun playing and making her snow angel and our little buddy boy didn't much like it. He preferred to stay in and keep warm. I love snow and how beautiful it is as it blankets everything in white. I am reminded of the promise of God in Isaiah 1:18 "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow". I am so thankful for this truth.
